Hello everyone,

I’m Betty Draesia a model since may 2011 in SL and I enjoy this job every single day of my second life.

I had the fortune to learn from the best mentor on the grid… and after all so much work I finally got the title of MISS V♛ AUSTRALIA 2013 and I’ll have the honor to represented Australia in the big finale event of the most important contest on the grid.

Opened this fashion blog in January 2012 and I started to learn how to use PS things that love even more 🙂

My character is a south asian kind of beauty it’s a Cambodian woman who carries with her the background of her original country, she experienced the difficult life in that country where most of the time girls in that part of the world have to sell themselves off to provide at their own families, girls that are even obliged with violence.

Fashion in SL is to me a way to express myself, it’s a way to be and to express my feelings and my thoughts, it’s a way to realize something I could never do in RL and unfortunately people that doesn’t live SL are not able to understand.

I’m dreaming to become a super model but i know the pattern is long and I’ve to work hard and may be one day the SL world will see me as a model who brought her experience to it and more than everything I love to learn from each people in here as in RL… I think everyone have something give something to teach, the key is “to listen”.

Ciao a tutti,

mi chiamo Betty Draesia e faccio la modella su SL da maggio del 2011 e mi diverto moltissimo ogni singolo giorno di questo lavoro!

Ho avuto la fortuna di imparare dai migliori mentori della grid ed ho deciso di aprire questo blog a gennaio del 2012, così ho incominciato ad imparare PS, cosa che adoro 🙂 e dopo tanto lavoro sono finalmente riuscita ad arrivare in finale a Miss Vitual World 2013 rappresentando l’australia, paese che adoro, con il titolo di MISS V♛ AUSTRALIA 2013 il motivo per cui ho scelto questa nazione lo scoprite nell’intervista pubblicata qui:

Il personaggio che rappresento come modella è una donna sel sud-est asiatico, una donna Cambogiana ha nel suo background e che porta con se le difficoltà incontrate ogni giorno dalle donne cambogiane nel vivere quotidianamente in una realtà estremamente diversa da quella occidentale, una realtà nella quale sono costrette molte volte a vendere il proprio corpo per far sopravvivere la propria famiglia o addirittura costrette con la forza.

La moda in SL è per me uno strumento per esprimere me stessa, un modo di essere, un modo per esprimere il mio umore ed i miei sentimenti, un modo per realizzare qualcosa che in RL non potrei fare e che purtroppo le persone che non vivono questo mondo non possono capire.

Sogno di diventare una super model ma so che la strada è lunga e il lavoro da fare molto ma chissà forse un giorno il mondo di SL mi vedrà come una modella che ha portato la sua esperienza di vita e più di ogni altra cosa adoro imparare dalle persone che mi circondano e soprattutto credo che si possa imparare da chiunque si incontri ognuno di noi ha molto da dare la chiave del gioco è saper ascoltare…
